Dear Leman Families,
I trust you are doing well and have adjusted to the new normal of being more at home and spending even more quality time together as a family. I am also hopeful that you are remaining healthy and safe through this epidemic that we are facing. I think of our families and scholars often; my times spent at school have not been the same, as you can only imagine. To say we all miss you and our scholars is the understatement of the year.
I want to also check in with you about the last two weeks of remote learning that has been provided by our teachers to your family. Please continue to communicate with your child’s teacher about any and all things, whether it’s the pace being set by your child’s teacher, the volume of work (too much or not enough… I’ve heard from parents on both), are we communicating clearly with you and/or your scholar, are we communicating enough?
Finally, how can I serve you? I do not want you to be frustrated with any of this. All of this is new for everyone involved, and we really want to meet your family’s needs throughout these upcoming weeks. So please don’t hesitate to reach out to either your child’s teacher or myself with any concerns, inquiries, insight you may have gained, needs that you may have, etc. Our goal in all of this is to partner well with you because we understand the added layer of stress this has placed on your family. So don’t hesitate to reach out to any one of us. I have heard this term quite frequently of late, but yes, we are all in this TOGETHER… no doubt about it.
Thank you, and as always, we appreciate your supportive partnership.
