Welcome to Leman Academy of Excellence — East Tucson. We are honored to serve military-connected students and families from Davis–Monthan Air Force Base and the greater Tucson community. Peer-to-Peer Mentor Program
Our student Peer-to-Peer mentors welcome new military-connected students and help them plug into school life during their first weeks on campus.
What mentors do
- Greet new students and provide a quick campus tour
- Eat lunch together the first few days and introduce friends
- Share how to join clubs, activities, and house events
- Check in weekly and help with questions
Patriotic Events & Activities
We honor service and build understanding of military life through annual events and activities, including:
• Patriots Day Parade — 9/11/2025
• Veterans Day Breakfast — 11/7/2025
