Tracie Oliver - 7th GRADE Teacher

Hello! My name is Mrs. Oliver, and I'm excited to join the Leman-Mesa family. I recently relocated to Arizona from a small rural town in Oregon because I was tired of the snow and ready for the sunshine!

My teaching career began in 2004 in my hometown of Kansas City, Missouri - Go Chiefs! In 2016, I took a four-year career break to explore a new career in web development and travel around the Pacific Northwest. Afterward, I returned to the classroom in 2020, where I taught K-4 for two years in eastern Oregon. Throughout my teaching career, I have had the pleasure of teaching grades K-11.

I graduated from the University of Central Missouri with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Art Education. I also earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from Baker University and an Education Specialist degree from William Woods University. So, you can probably tell I love school and learning new things, which is why I've adopted the motto: When We Learn, We Grow!

Apart from being a teacher, I am the proud mother of two beautiful daughters. Dionne, my oldest daughter, lives in Tampa, FL, and Cayla, my youngest daughter, lives here in Mesa. My furbaby is River, an 85lb Goldendoodle disguised as a chocolate Golden Retriever at two years old.
