My son attended Leman from second through eighth grade. He is now a sophomore at Castle View High School. As one of his first assignments this year, his engineering teacher required his class to do an "about me" presentation. Not only was my son not at all anxious ahead of time, he was relaxed, coherent and drawing laughter from his classmates during his turn. He noted the difference between his speech and those of others who were not as seasoned. My husband and I have always loved Leman's dedication to teaching public speaking, but I think my son is finally appreciating 7 years of monthly recitations and the unique school experience he was afforded during elementary and middle school. Our family has been so blessed by this school. Thank you for all you do."
We started at Leman in Tucson, and moved to Parker specifically to attend Leman here. This is our 5th year with the school and LOVE everything about it. Curriculum is amazing. The staff is genuinely interested in the well being of the kids. The Principal greets the kids BY NAME every morning. They teach values and virtues. No homework on weekends, holidays or breaks. They love partnering with the parents. Grades are staggered for drop off and pick up so the car line is great. I could go on.”
We really like Leman. Have been there for 4 years now. It is tough/rigorous and homework is not always easy (for my kids anyway). But we love the curriculum, caring atmosphere and their desire to teach values and virtues in addition to academics. They want parents involved and that’s a good thing.”

We would like to thanks Ms. Escude. She is the standard for great teachers. She has a heart of gold, seeing each of her students as they are and meeting them where they are at. She deeply loves her students and wants them to succeed in the classroom as well as beyond. We are so grateful for the opportunity to have had Ms. Escude as a teacher and she has forever impacted my son.
Our family would like to nominate the infamous Ms. Steinke for the Apple award. She is one of a kind, the relationships she develops with her students are so impactful and I know it will be lifelong for our son. She truly goes above and beyond to ensure her students are prepared, feel seen, loved, and valued. Her skills and abilities cannot be taught in any course. She embodies a love and passion for her 4th grade students that I could only hope all students would get to experience during school. She challenges her students making learning come to life and fun! We feel extremely blessed for our son to be in her class and hope all can experience her infectious smile and sweet Texas accent. 🙂
Mrs. Sparks is such a wonderful teacher! We’ve had the pleasure of having her for 1st and now 5th! My husband got really sick and was in the hospital for over a week, when Mrs. Sparks found out she sent home a goody bag full of things to keep the kids entertained at the hospital along with things for my husband and I. She truly goes above and beyond and my scholars love her!
I wish I could nominate more than one teacher! My second grader has had amazing teachers so far but Ms. Martinez has been our favorite so far. She recognized his learning style, where he excels academically and helped us encourage him in those areas. She also helped him to realize mistakes are ok to make and to learn from them. She suggested he be tested for gifted and talented and when he didn’t want to pursue it, she didn’t push it which I appreciate as a parent. She always had encouraging words for him, and does even when she sees him now that he’s not in her class. To me she epitomizes the tough but fair teacher.
Ms Creager changed my daughter’s idea of history. She brought it to life. My daughter was so excited to be in her class everyday, to the point that she is honestly sad she doesn’t get to see her everyday this year. Through her humor, high standards and love for learning, Ms Creager engages her scholars, makes them think, cares for them and makes them better people. Ms Creager is the type of teacher of teacher you would invite back for a high school graduation. Leman Academy is so lucky to have her as a teacher and mentor for her scholars. She truly goes above and beyond for her scholars, I am so thankful my daughter was able to have her.
