Leman Academy of Excellence is a charter school that provides a tuition-free, rigorous classical education for scholars in grades K–8. Our classical approach inspires scholars to love learning, fosters strong character, and prepares scholars for success in life. Families choose Leman for a classical education, smaller class sizes, a safe and structured environment, a strong parent partnership, and character and values woven into the school day. There is no entrance exam and no registration fee.
Open Enrollment is how new families request a seat. Current Leman scholars do not re-register. An Intent to Return form comes later.
Arizona: Nov. 1–7
Arizona Open Enrollment for K–8 is Nov. 1–7. Choose Central Tucson, East Tucson, Marana, Oro Valley, or Sierra Vista.
A child is eligible for kindergarten at age 5 by September 1, and for first grade at age 6 by September 1.
Colorado Open Enrollment is Nov. 2 through Dec. 1
To apply:
- Open the Arizona or Colorado enrollment page and go to the Open Enrollment link.
- Create a new ParentVue login. If you already have a scholar at Leman, log in to that account. Do not create a second one.
- Choose Begin Registration, then Begin New Registration, and follow the prompts.
- If applications for a grade are more than the seats, a random lottery is held the week after Open Enrollment closes. Only applications received during the window are included. Families are notified by email within two weeks. Scholars who are not selected are placed on a waitlist. After an offer, families provide a birth certificate, immunization records, and proof of Arizona residency.

A visit is the best way to see whether Leman is the right fit. Scholars are known by name, and parents are partners in the work.
