The Leman Academy of Excellence Royal Volunteer Council exists to support our scholars, staff, and families.
In alignment with the school’s mission, the Royal Volunteer Council mobilizes volunteers to plan, organize, and support activities that enrich scholars’ experiences and encourage staff.

RVC Committees & Volunteer Oportunities
The Royal Volunteer Council (RVC) operates through dedicated committees that organize, plan, and lead specific initiatives throughout the year. Being on an RVC committee means you’re part of the behind-the-scenes planning that makes our school events possible. You can be involved as little or as much as you’d like! Not sure? That’s okay – join and see what it’s all about. Change your mind? Life happens – we get it!
In addition to committees, the RVC also offers sign-up opportunities such as Watch D.O.G.S. and lunchroom volunteering. These roles don’t require ongoing planning but still make a big impact in supporting our scholars and staff.
With both committees and flexible sign-ups, there’s a place for everyone to get involved in a way that fits their schedule, skills, and interests.
Teacher Appreciation Committee
Celebrate our amazing teachers by helping plan Teacher Appreciation Week! Assist with selecting a theme, planning daily gifts, meals, decorations, and making our staff feel truly appreciated.
School Dance Committee
Help plan an unforgettable dance! Tasks include organizing timing by grade level, picking a theme, coordinating music and activities, refreshments, and decorating for a fun night.
Trunk or Treat Committee
Help plan and organize our annual Trunk or Treat event! This includes coordinating the space, timing, contests, prizes, decorations, food, and more to make it a festive, family-friendly celebration.
House Captains
Parent grade-level representatives who help plan & lead efforts like quarterly teacher luncheons, break room stocking, campus clean-ups, community service projects, and encourage their grade to support the school
Watch D.O.G.S.
Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) is a program where fathers, grandfathers, and father-figures volunteer on campus for a day, supporting staff, helping students, and promoting safety while serving as positive role models
Lunchroom Volunteer
Lunchroom Volunteers help create a smooth and positive lunchtime experience by assisting students, opening food items, keeping lines moving, and supporting staff so lunchtime runs safely and efficiently.
Helping Hands Committee
Support our amazing teachers by volunteering your time—at your convenience! On the designated day each week, you can drop in to help with classroom tasks like making copies, prepping materials, cutting, sorting, and more. Every little bit makes a big difference!
